Chestermere Community Playschool Open House

Location: Chestermere Community Playschool Classroom in the Chestermere Recreation Centre
What is play-based preschool all about? Is it the right choice for your child and your family? Visit our open house to find out!
Our open house will allow you to fully experience our classroom and learn what a typical day in playschool looks like. You’ll meet our exceptionally qualified teachers, who have created a fun-filled classroom that features lessons, crafts, and centres on monthly topics of interest such as the five senses, outer space, love/kindness, nutrition, etc. You’ll also get a chance to peek at the arena where we have monthly skating days (6 times from October to March!)

What else does being in the Rec Centre mean for our Playschool? We have access to the Main Hall, where the kids have daily gym time - unless it’s nice enough to go outside and enjoy the green space and get some fresh air. The Rec Centre’s facilities also allow us to host special guests like the RCMP who talk to the kids about being safe crossing the street, and Santa who stopped by for photos at our Christmas concert.
We’re excited to participate in the new Affordability Grant and subsidy program, making quality, play-based preschool more accessible to all the families in Chestermere.
