Chestermere Playschool: 2022 Review and Looking into 2023

By Chestermere Community Playschool January 5, 2023

It seems like just yesterday the school year began, and now it is almost half over! With 2022 behind us and 2023 ahead, the Chestermere Community Playschool is looking forward to another successful and fun-filled year.

Last year, we had many special guests and events concluding the year with our annual Holiday Concert. You may have seen us at our open house or the Trunk or Treat.

Moving ahead into 2023 we hope to connect with even more families. In January we will open our 2023/2024 school year registration to existing families. Come February registration will open for new families and we will host an open house. In March we will have a table at the spring Energizer Night. As for the playschool, the 2023/2024 school year is important for us - it's our 40th Anniversary and we expect it to be a very special year for everyone involved.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past year - parents, students, community members and families, our teachers and board members, many local businesses and organizations.

With so much going on throughout the year we encourage everyone to follow us on Instagram, and Facebook or look on our website as we roll out our key dates as they become available. And feel free to give us a “like” or a “share”… we love spreading our updates, activity pictures, and stories to the community. Don’t hesitate to send us an email or a message if something catches your eye and would like to know more!

We can’t wait to get our students back in the class after the holidays and are very excited to get 2023 underway!

Registrations for the 2022/23 school year are still being accepted. The Chestermere Community Playschool is excited to participate in the new Affordability Grant and subsidy program, making quality, play-based preschool more accessible to all the families in Chestermere.

You may always find more information about their program, teachers, subsidies, and registration on their website.
