Chestermere and Area Pride Society (CAPS)

The Chestermere and Area Pride Society (CAPS) is running its 2024 family-friendly pride event on June 30th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. They are looking for people to fill various roles at the event. An event of this size takes many hands to run smoothly and we hope you can help with that. Volunteers must be 18+. For more details or to volunteer, please email Jay at volunteers@capsociety.org


Rocky View Chestermere Agricultural Society

  • Bulls on the Beach - July 19, 2024. Volunteers must be 18+
  • Chestermere Country Fair - September 5 - 8, 2024. There are a wide variety of positions available suitable for all ages. 
  • That Winter Thing  - November 30, 2024. There are a wide variety of positions available suitable for all ages. 
  • Kids Holiday Store - November 30, 2024. There are a wide variety of positions available suitable for all ages.

Langdon Community Association

The LCA needs casino volunteers for June 25 and 26, 2024 at the Ace Casino on Blackfoot Trail.

Dr Giggles House of Pain

Dr Giggles is always looking for creative Halloween and haunted house enthusiasts. Youth are more than welcome.

Chestermere Food Bank

The Chestermere Food Bank has many volunteer opportunities, from administration help to Meals on Wheels couriers and Community Garden Coordinator. 


Langdon Days

Chestermere Lake Middle School

The hot lunch program desperately needs volunteers to help with their weekly lunch program on Tuesdays during the school year. The time commitment is usually no more than 1.5 hours. clms.hotlunchcoordinator@gmail.com


Community Therapy Dogs Society
