The Chestermere Public Library is a hub for the community and is more than just books! The library offers a wide variety of programs and services including:

- Free child, youth, family and adult programs
- and so much more!
The Chestermere Public Library began with the dream of a committed group of community members even before 1993 when the bylaw was passed to form the Chestermere Library Board. This dream became reality on November 27th, 2007 when the Library opened its doors and collections to the people of Chestermere and Rocky View County. We became a Registered Charity in January 1, 2015. Our file number is 3054899. This project has been a demanding one made successful mainly through the hard work and passion of the many members of the community that supported the vision of having our own library in Chestermere.
