Langdon, get ready for some holiday cheer! The much-loved Kid's Holiday Store is making its return to the Langdon Library on November 30, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, bringing joy to young shoppers and a unique opportunity to make their holiday gifting extra special.
The Kid's Holiday Store provides an exciting and "secret" shopping experience for children. For just $5 per gift, kids can pick out presents for the special adults in their lives, with a little guidance from a friendly holiday elf. It’s a chance for children to surprise family members with thoughtful gifts, all while experiencing the fun of holiday shopping on their own!
To make this event a success, the library is calling on the community to support by donating new gifts for our young shoppers. Donations can be dropped off at the library any time before November 30.
The library is also in need of enthusiastic volunteers to help with setup and to serve as helper elves during the event. This is an excellent opportunity for teens to gain work experience, build community connections, and enjoy the holiday spirit. As a special perk, volunteers will get early access to shop for the kids in their own families!
Let’s come together as a community to create a magical holiday experience for our kids. Your support can make this event a memorable one for everyone involved!
