Thanksgiving Craft - Pinecone Turkeys
Hey Kids! Get ready to unleash your creativity! Join the Langdon Community Library on Thursday, October 3, from 3-7:00 pm for a super fun FREE crafting event! We’re making Pinecone Turkeys that will look awesome on your Thanksgiving table. All supplies are provided and we have enough for the first 20 crafters, so come early to grab your spot! If pinecone turkeys aren’t your thing, don’t worry—other craft supplies will be available for you to make something amazing.
Friendship Bracelets for Best Friends Day
Join the Langdon Library on Thursday, October 10 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm for a super fun crafting day where you and your besties can create the ultimate sign of friendship – friendship bracelets! It’s a drop-in, self-directed craft session, so just swing by anytime during those hours. They've got all the supplies ready for you – just bring your creativity and your besties!
Listening Tails
Langdon Library is thrilled to announce the return of Listening Tails, in partnership with the Community Therapy Dogs Society! Starting on Thursday, October 10, and continuing every Thursday, furry friends will be at the Library from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, ready to listen to you read! Whether you have a reluctant reader who needs a bit of encouragement or an animal lover who dreams of reading aloud to a friendly furball, everyone is welcome. Time slots are available in 15-minute increments on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to come early and grab your spot.
Monthly Makerspace
Get ready to unleash your creativity! Langdon Community Library is thrilled to announce our new Monthly Makerspace, opening its doors on the third Thursday of each month from 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Starting October 17, kids of all ages can dive into a world of crafting with whatever supplies they have on hand. Drop by after school to join the fun and explore your creativity! Each month will bring a fresh batch of materials and endless possibilities for your projects. Plus, if you want to clear out your craft cupboard, the Langdon Library is happily accepting donations of craft supplies to keep their Makerspace stocked and exciting! Mark your calendars and bring your imagination—let’s create, craft, and make magic together.
