While this isn't a youth or family program, we feel it is important information to share men in our community.
The City of Chestermere is offering a new program dedicated to reducing men's social isolation and producing positive community impacts. Men's Sheds are a casual place for men to meet, socialize, gather and work on rewarding projects. It provides a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where men can engage in hands-on activities. A shed offers men an alternate way to reach out and avoid feelings of isolation.
Learn new skills:
Teach new skills, find opportunities, and learn new interests. Promote one's physical and mental health by being involved with others! It's a place where one can learn, teach, talk or just have a coffee.

- Bike/bike repair
- Woodworking, metalworking
- Auto repair
- Cooking
- Tech workshops
- Garden
- Home repair
- Walking and hiking
