Hello! It's been a minute since I wrote one of these, but I have some important information to share: I got myself suspended on Facebook
I shared a post from an author that I love, and I added some personal comments about Facebook killing small businesses by choking our organic reach. So, I lost access to my personal profile, which also meant I lost access to my business profile.
The moral of this little story: find other ways to support your favourite local business, other than following them on Facebook. If they have a newsletter or mailing list, subscribe to it. If they are on another platform, follow them. Even just like and comment on their posts.
