Kids' Holiday Store: A Magical Adventure for Young Shoppers

Tickets are on sale now

By RVC Ag Society November 2, 2023

Step into a world of wonder on Saturday, December 2 at the RVC Agricultural Societys' Kids' Holiday Store, where children aged 4 and above embark on an enchanting journey of discovery. This magical event promises a fun-filled adventure as young shoppers enter a realm of joy and empowerment.

Upon arrival, pre-registered children check in with their caregivers and receive their shopping tokens and gift tags (1 ticket purchased = 1 shopping token). Then, as children enter the store, they're greeted by their very own elf companion, ready to guide them through an array of gift aisles, the gift wrapping station and the cashier.

But that's not all – the Kids' Holiday Store isn't just about gift-giving. It's a platform where children acquire valuable life skills including decision-making and social interaction. The Kids' Holiday Store is also an affordable gift-shopping experience at a time when budgets are tight.

This unforgettable experience typically lasts around 20 minutes, and there are four-time slots to choose from:

  • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm (sold out)
  • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
  • 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  • 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Where: Chestermere Recreation Centre, MPP Room

1 ticket purchased = 1 gift token. You may purchase more than one gift token for your child(ren). Tickets are $5.00 each.

Tickets are now on sale

Donations for the Kids Holiday Store

The Kids Holiday Store relies on the donation of new unwrapped items for adults and children/youth to fill the store. Donation bins will be available in early November at the Chestermere Public Library, Chestermere Rec Centre, Synergy and Summit Start.

Cash donations are accepted via our secure online platform here. A tax receipt will be generated.

We also have an Amazon wish list where items may be purchased and sent directly to the Ag. Society.
