10 Healthy Snacks Kids Will Love

Help your kids make healthy choices!

As parents, we all know the struggle of finding healthy snacks that our kids will actually eat. It can be easy to grab a bag of chips or a sugary treat, but those options aren't the best for our kids' health. Fortunately, there are plenty of fun and healthy snack ideas that kids will love. 

Here are 10 of my favourites to help you get started.

1. Fruit kabobs

Simply cut up a variety of fruits and skewer them on a stick for a fun and colourful snack.

2. Homemade trail mix or granola

Allow kids to mix together their favourite nuts, seeds, and dried fruit for a healthy and satisfying snack.

3. Ants on a log

This is a classic that still satisfies: Spread peanut butter on celery sticks and top with raisins.

4. Yogurt parfait 

Layer yoghurt, granola, and fresh fruit in a clear glass for a pretty, delicious, and healthy snack.

5. Smoothie bowls

Blend together your child's favourite fruits and veggies and then serve in a bowl with toppings like granola, coconut flakes, and chia seeds.

6. Apple nachos

Slice up apples and top them with peanut butter, chocolate chips, and coconut flakes for a sweet and crunchy snack.

7. Frozen yoghurt bark

Mix together yoghurt, honey, and your child's favourite fruits and then freeze. This easy treat makes for a cool and refreshing snack and is much healthier than ice cream!

Slice sweet potatoes thinly or cut kale and bake in the oven for a crunchy and healthy snack.
