Free Minature Figure Painting - Sundays, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
On Sundays, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., The Sandbox extends the opportunity for individuals of all ages and proficiency levels to partake in the art of miniature figure painting. Participants may utilize the Sandbox's complimentary art supplies, bring their own materials, or peruse the assortment available for purchase, both in-store and through their online storefront.
Drop-In Dungeons & Dragons - $5 drop-in or FREE with monthly PLAY subscription ($30/month).
For aficionados of the renowned Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) role-playing game, The Sandbox presents a captivating offering. Every Monday, The Sandbox hosts a "Drop-In Dungeons & Dragons" event, which entails a fee of $5 per session or, alternatively, complimentary access for those subscribing to the monthly PLAY membership at a rate of $30 per month. D&D, celebrated for its appeal to a broad demographic, serves as a valuable educational tool for fostering social adeptness, teamwork, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and effective communication, particularly among youth. The Sandbox's Dungeon Masters provide guidance throughout the character creation process and facilitate initial gameplay experiences. Those desiring assistance with character creation are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes in advance.
Tables for youth aged 14 and under, run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and general tables run from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It is important to note that minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Adults, meanwhile, are afforded the opportunity to engage in gameplay at a designated adult table or enjoy the lounge's amenities while partaking in refreshments. Prospective attendees are kindly requested to consider RSVPing, to ensure there are enough Dungeon Masters.
