Fall Early Literacy Programs

These early literacy programs are for children ages 0 - 5. Registration for these programs begins on September 5, 2023, at 10:00 am, and programs begin on September 7v. To register for these (or any other library program), please visit the library's website and click on the appropriate program on the calendar. 


Drop-In Family Story Time

Tuesdays & Fridays 10:15 am - 10:45 am

All agesg. No need to register for this storytime designed with the whole family in mind. Everyone is welcome to join us for songs and stories.


PJ Storytime

Tuesdays, 6:16 pm

All ages. Get ready for bed with the Chestermere Public Library and enjoy a bedtime story at the library. Wear your PJs, bring your blankets, and stuffies, and tuck in for reading and fun.  No registration required.


School Readiness

Wednesdays, 1:00 pm

Ages 4 - 5. Build children’s confidence and independence before they go to school. Registration required.


Busy Bees

Wednesdays, 1:45 pm

Ages 3. 

Your child will grow and develop with a variety of activities. Registration is required.


Family Yoga

Thursdays, 10:00 am

Ages 2 - 6. Join Luna P.L.A.Y Kids for play-based yoga, great for the whole family!  Get some family bonding time in as we participate in partner yoga, interactive games, music/dance, and fun poses. Together, you and your family can learn how to relieve stress, regulate emotions and have fun! No registration required.


Movin' & Groovin'

Thursdays, 10:45 am in September

Ages 0 - 6. Time to get your little ones movin’ and groovin’ with Trellis! Let your body move you, shake, wiggle, stomp, jump, hop, and play in this fun gross motor program.  Register for Movin’ & Groovin’ by emailing Trellis at  strathmorefrn@growwithtrellis.ca


Drop-In Baby Storytime

Fridays, 10:15 am 

Ages 0 - 18 months. Baby Storytime is for parents, caregivers, and babies 0-18 months. There are books, songs, and playing. Stay after for our Bibs, Burps, and Breaks!
