It's time for all-female hockey in Wheatland and Rocky View Counties.
The Minor Hockey Associations of Strathmore, Chestermere, Indus and Siksika are proud to announce the inaugural season in 2023/2024 of all-female minor hockey east of Calgary.
Planning is underway for additional community-based female skates and development opportunities this summer - with inaugural season registration planned to open May 15, 2023.
Hockey Alberta projects that there are currently close to 8,000 females participating in our sport and female hockey is currently one of the fastest-growing sports in the province. The Wheatland Wranglers represents the opportunity for girls in all minor hockey age groups to play in a home association, close to home.
