Hello! There have been a lot of new subscribers lately, so I thought it was time to re-introduce myself. Here are a few random facts about me:
- I've been the Macaroni KID Chestermere publisher since 2015.
- I’m a mom to two kids and have been married for 18 years.
- I was born and raised in the Chestermere area. My kids are 4th generation "Chestermerians".
- Robins are my favourite bird and I live for that first day in spring when they start to sing.
- I'm a cat person, there's nothing better than those little toe beans.
- I love Chestermere's history. I highly recommend the book "Chestermere: A Home for All Seasons". It's available at the library.
- On a Myers-Briggs personality test, I am an INFJ, an introvert through and through. If you see me in public, and I don't say hi, it's not you, it's me.
- I organize a few other events in Chestermere, other than Macaroni KID-related ones
- I'll take Coke over Pepsi any day of the week.
- I LOVE the mint M&Ms that come out at Christmas. I horde them, and have been known to try and buy out local stores.
- Dementia awareness has a special place in my heart. I lost my mom to early-onset dementia and both of my grandmothers had dementia.
- Blue skies and yellow canola fields make my heart sing. I also love the smell of canola.
- I love to shop locally whenever possible and I love helping local businesses reach local families.
- My mission with Macaroni KID is to bring local fun, businesses, and events to you and your family.
