Spring is in the air and we are beaming with excitement to open registration for SPRING 2023 skating programs. Classes start at the end of March/ early April!
Find one that's right for your child (and you! - as we are again able to offer our popular Adult Learn to Skate classes! ;) Back for Spring are also Zoom Movement & Theater Class for StarSkaters.
So do not wait and register as the classes fill up fast!
Also, save the date for our end-of-season Ice Show: Saturday, June 10th at 1 - 3 pm (followed by AGM with StarSkate/PA Awards at 3:15 pm)! More information to follow.
SPRING 2023 CLASSES:
PreCanSkate - for skaters 3 to 11 years of age who are either just learning to skate or have some skating experience:
- Thursdays 4:30 - 5:15 pm, Mar 30 to Jun 8
- Sundays 1:30 - 2:00 pm, April 16 to Jun 25
- Sundays 2:00 - 2:30 pm, April 16 to Jun 25
CanSkate - for skaters 6+ years of age who are either just learning to skate or have some skating experience:
- Thursdays 4:30 - 5:15 pm, Mar 30 to Jun 8
- Fridays 4:30 - 5:15 pm, April 14 to Jun 9
- Sundays 1:30 - 2:30 pm, April 16 to Jun 25
Hockey Skating Skills - geared to hockey and ringette skaters who are 6 years or older
- Thursdays 4:00 - 5:00 pm, Mar 30 to Jun 8 (age 6+)
- Sundays 1:30 - 2:30 pm, Apr 16 to Jun 25 (age 6-8)
- Sundays 2:30 - 3:30 pm, Apr 16 to Jun 25 (age 9+)
Teens & Adult Learn to Skate - for skaters 12 years or older who have never skated before or have little skating experience
- Tuesdays 4:15 - 5:15 pm, Mar 28 to Jun 6
Special Needs Learn to Skate - for skaters with special needs who have never skated before or have little skating experience and for who the group format of our CanSkate program would not meet skater's needs
- Thursdays 4:00 - 4:30 pm, Mar 30 to Jun 8
PreStarSkate and StarSkate - for skaters who have completed CanSkate Level 5 or have been invited to join by our Director of Skating
Zoom Movement & Theater Class - for StarSkaters Star 1+, focus on arms, fingers, facial expressions and choreography detail. The goal is to improve the skater's body awareness with musical styles and develop the performance level required for both tests and in competition
- Session Tuesdays 7:00 to 7:40 pm, Apr 4 to Jun 6
- Mix of Thursdays and Sundays 7:00 to 7:40 pm, Apr 6 to Jun 8
Dryland (mandatory for all StarSkaters and PreStarSkaters)
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 5:30 to 6:15 pm (StarSkaters and PreStarSkaters)
- Sundays 10:45 - 11:45am (StarSkaters)
- Sundays 3:45 - 4:15pm (PreStarSkaters)

Take advantage of our sliding scale discount when registering for PreStarSkate and StarSkate classes. The more days you sign up for, the greater the discount:
- 3 items 6%
- 4 items 7%
- 5 items 8%
- 6 items 9%
- 7 items 10%
- 8 items 11%
Discount also applies to family registration: i.e. two siblings registered for two days each qualify for a 7% discount!
