Chestermere Community Playschool: Limited Spaces Available

Register now for the 2022/23 School Year

By Chestermere Community Playschool August 11, 2022

Thinking about preschool? If your 3 or 4-year-old loves to play, is ready to make new friends, and explore the world around them, we are the preschool for you!  Our play-based curriculum has been expertly crafted by our two exceptionally qualified teachers and is designed to nurture all the skills and abilities your little one needs to successfully transition to kindergarten.

Our unique location in the Chestermere Recreation Center means that our classroom is just the beginning! One of the biggest perks our program has to offer is daily gym time.  We’re fully equipped to play with lots of equipment like hula hoops, skipping ropes, balls, scooters, frisbees and a parachute, and when the weather is nice, they get to have all that fun outdoors in the fresh air!

The Rec Centre’s facilities also allow us to host special guests like the RCMP who talk to the kids about being safe crossing the street, and Santa who stopped by for photos at our Christmas concert.  And those rinks at the Rec Centre?  Our program includes six parented skating events that give our families a great chance to get to know the teachers and each other a little better, all while having fun on skates.

Want to meet our teachers, explore the classroom, and see for yourself why our play-based preschool is just what you’re looking for?  Visit our open house on August 24th!

For more information about our open house, our program, and info about how we keep costs low as a parent-run, not-for-profit playschool participating in the Affordability Grant program, visit our website at www.chestermereplayschool.com

Sadly, summer won’t last forever and spaces are filling up fast - register early to secure your spot!

Registrations for the 2022/23 school year are now being accepted. The Chestermere Community Playschool is excited to participate in the new Affordability Grant and subsidy program, making quality, play-based preschool more accessible to all the families in Chestermere.

You may always find more information about their program, teachers, subsidies, and registration on their website.
