The Chestermere Food Bank is now collecting school supplies for those in need in our community. The Backpack Program provides vital school supplies to local kids who are unable to attend school without the proper essentials. The program equips students with the tools needed to help “even the playing field” and prepare them for a successful school year and beyond.
Registration runs from July 1 through August 15. Please note that the Chestermere Food Bank cannot guarantee backpacks if registration is not received by August 15. To register, please click here.

Donations may be dropped off in the Chestermere Food Bank bins located at Safeway, No Frills, Chestermere Library, Chestermere Recreation Centre, Sylvan Learning Centre, Chestermere Veterinary Clinic, Re/Max Key, Lake City Cannabis, Scotiabank, ATB, Chestermere Lake Tire and the Whitecappers., or directly at the Chestermere Food Bank.
