Drop by the Chestermere Public Library on May 7th, 2022 for free zucchini plant growing kits and some guest speakers! The library is giving away everything kids need to start growing their own zucchini plant. There will be special categories and prizes at the Chestermere Country Fair on September 10, 2022, for kids submitting their zucchinis and the provided growing diaries.
Short presentations:
1:30 pm - Bees by Lesley Reichenfeld, Beekeeper
2:00 pm - Composting with Worms by Jen Peddlesden
2:30 pm - Cooking with Zucchini by Laurie Dunn of the Chestermere Food Bank
Any remaining zucchini growing kits will be available at the library until June 30th.
