Let's blast off!! Chestermere's Rocket Derby "The Lake Ridge Launch" is taking off for the first time! On Saturday, September 18th from 12:30-3:30 p.m. (Check-in at 12:30 p.m. and launch starts at 1:00 p.m.) at the field near Prairie Waters School (201 Invermere Drive, Chestermere). Join us for a fun day of rocket launches! Come prepared to hang for the afternoon with your lawn chairs and rocket ready.
Lake Ridge will provide the rocket engines and volunteers to help with blastoff. The cost is $5.00 to enter plus the cost of the rocket you purchase ($20-30). See below.
Families will bring the rocket and kids will get 2 launches per rocket. We'll see you at the launch pad!
*We will closely follow the Government of Alberta guidelines to ensure that we can provide a good and safe experience for everyone. Sign-up is required.
