Tell us briefly, about your business?
The kitchen is truly the heart of the home. Enjoy cooking tips, tricks & quality products to Make Life Easier!! We sell quality baking and cookware as well as small appliances that are fun, easy to use and make food more delicious.
What inspired or encouraged you to start this business?
Over the past few years, I have learned about who I am and what I am passionate about. First and foremost is the love of God - oh how good He is! Then the love of my husband Ryan, my family and my friends. Without the gracious support of these amazing people, I don't know where I would be. I have been encouraged to grow and have learned that my joy of baking is more than that, it truly is a passion! As a recovering alcoholic, part of my healing journey was finding passions like baking and also hobbies that are productive and healthy. I am also learning with Ryan new ways to work together in the kitchen. That is HOW I discovered Pampered Chef and WHY I decided to become an Independent Consultant. I truly love quality products such as Pampered Chef and love sharing with others and helping them make their kitchen fun.

What was the most difficult part of starting your business?
For me, it was the people-ing, with my anxiety I have a hard time interacting with people, but I pushed through and am slowly getting more comfortable and confident in myself. I am learning!
How do you balance work and family life?
It's hard!. I try to set work hours and also family hours. I make sure we always have a family dinner and take time for family activities. My youngest loves baking so that's easy. And my eldest loves video games so we play those together as a family.
Do you have any advice to give other super moms?
Make sure to not get lost in your work, keep a schedule and make time for your family and for you too. Self-care is so incredibly important, whether it doing your nails, taking a bath, reading a book or walking the dog. Be Nike - just do it!
What do you love most about your business?
I most love helping my hosts shop and get discounts!!! It is so fun and anyway I can help others is my fave part.
What do you do to take care of YOU?
I make sure to get time in with the Lord to help centre myself, as well I bake and read a lot. Oh and nails!!! I love doing my nails so much.
Favourite thing to do with your kids or family in the local area?
With Covid, this has changed drastically. The only thing we do out of the house now is play Pokemon Go, we ALL play and meet up with other players in Chestermere to coordinate on raids and Pokemon Community days. We have a blast!
