Register now at iceedgeskatingclub.com for early bird discounts!

We have recently modified our program scheduling and our new coaching staff is ready to welcome all of our returning and new skaters.

CanSkate is offered weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, starting September 20th, 2020.

Choose one or both days as the skater progresses through the 6 levels of this sanctioned Skate Canada badge program at the pace that is right for them.  The skaters are assessed throughout the season and moved up levels to keep them challenged and engaged.

The kids learn balance, agility, and control, which are skills they can use in any ice sport: figure skating, speed skating, ringette or hockey.

Sign up and watch your child skate away with an “I CAN” attitude!

StarSkate is offered Sunday through Friday, starting September 14th, 2020.

Sign up for one or all days for the season, whatever best fits your family budget and schedule, and whatever best suits your figure skater’s dreams and aspirations.

Extra ice times are offered weekly Monday and Wednesday mornings, with a focus on edge control, spins, and jumps.  In addition to ice times, skaters can register for dryland training to improve their flexibility, coordination, and strength.

With ANY StarSkate program registration, your skater is invited to join us in a FREE Boot Breaker Seminar, which will run on Sunday, September 13th, 2020, from 11:00 to 3:30 PM! This is a great chance for your skater to get back on the ice in a safe and fun interactive environment and meet the new coaches.

We are pleased to also offer a Program Assistant Training to the StarSkaters who help us with the CanSkate programs to grow as a skater and a leader.  The PA Training is mandatory for StarSkate Level 2+ and is scheduled for Sunday, September 20th, 2020 from 11:00 to 3:30 PM.

For Adult Learn to Skate or Special Needs Learn to Skate please e-mail us at inquiries@iceedgeskatingclub.com.

You are protected with us:

The last season ended abruptly due to Covid-19 closures and we apologize to everyone inconvenienced by it.  The refunds have been issued at that time, and we are prepared to do the same if needed again.

We are also following the latest provincial and health authorities and Skate Canada guidelines with the health protocols in place at the Chestermere Recreational Centre. Please visit our website www.icedgeskatingclub.com often or follow us on Facebook for current updates.

We are ready to face any challenges with the same attitude we try to instill in all our skaters:

Don’t give up, stay calm, and skate on!
