Macaroni Minute (06.18.2020)

A Note from Your Publisher

June 18, 2020

We're almost there, can you see the finish line?? COVID School, and its partner COVID Crash (which is very similar to the Summer Slide), is thisclose to being done for the summer, and I couldn't be happier. I am done with the arguments and whining about finishing (or even starting school projects) and googling random school terms like "What is regrouping?" and "what the #$%^ is an r-controlled blend". I'm ready for two months of no weekly assignments and unlimited tablet time (just kidding. Maybe.). I'm also looking forward to reclaiming my kitchen table. I've forgotten what it looks like without a mess of laptops, workbooks, early readers, sight word cards, pencils and erasers.

We made it. Give yourself a pat on the back, raise a glass, and tell yourself "good job!". No matter how COVID school looked for you (school work, no school work, some school work), you did good.

Don't forget, the online calendar is full of virtual events and activities. As local in-person activities and events start up again, they will be added to the calendar as well.  The thumbs up ๐Ÿ‘ icon on the calendar indicates a local(ish) event from a local(ish) business - Chestermere, Langdon, Strathmore or Calgary. If you see an event that you think would be a great addition to the calendar please feel free to tag me, Online Event Submission or submit the event online
