June 25, 2020

Luna Kids
is an online-based, kids yoga, physical literacy and music program, owned by Coach Tracy F. My goal is to create a fun and safe environment where the kids can burn off some energy, learn their zen, and have some laughs!  Coach Tracy also runs the local Sportball programs at the Chestermere Rec Centre.

Local Business Inside Look: Sharing the Impact of Covid-19

Did your business have to close during the last four months?

No.

How did you maintain engagement with the community (social media, e-newsletter, giveaways, etc.) during the time you have been closed?

By starting and running virtual online classes for kids.

Based on the province's stages of re-opening, when did you reopen or when are you hoping to reopen?

In full service by September hopefully!

What, if any, adjustments will you have to make to your business as you reopen?

Kids program max numbers will be drastically decreased. Social distance means no gameplay in sports programs. Kids will need to bring own equipment.

Please provide as much information about the current status of your business and what you want our readers to know about your offerings, products and services:

My business is running virtual classes for the time being. I am a kids yoga teacher, Zumbini instructor and Sportball coach. I hope that we will be running in the fall under the companies I work for. Currently, I’m offering private, or small group, virtual or in-person kids yoga and adventure classes which combine yoga, gymnastics, motor skill activities, and dance together.
