Parent Link Fall Programs

September is an exciting month at the Parent Link Centre! There are some great new programs and workshops for you and your family to enjoy this Fall! 

Here is how to register for Fall programs:

1. Register in person on Wednesday, September 11th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Chestermere Energizer Night.

2. Langdon & SE Rocky View families: Register in person on Thursday, September 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Langdon Energizer.

3. OR Call (403) 207-7050 to register on Thursday, September 12th beginning at 9:00 am.

Movers N' Shakers (18-36 months) 
Learn new songs and techniques to help distract, excite, and calm your child. Bang on drums, shake tambourines, dance with ribbons with new friends. Mondays - September 23rd - December 9th - 2:00 - 3:00pm - Chestermere Parent Link

Melody Makers (3-5 year olds) 
Children will participate in music-related activities that includes song, dance, instruments, and imaginative play.

Daddy & Me (All Ages) 
This September and November we will be open one Saturday per month with a new Daddy & Me program featuring School Ready Brains! This program will build connection, boost imagination, and give dads tools to help their child develop. Daddy & Me is designed to get dads and kiddos playing, building, and moving together in a fun and interactive environment using School Ready Brains hands-on activities and games!

Let's Grow Together (3-5 year olds)
 A program designed to build school readiness skills with Music and Movement, Science and Nature, Language and Literacy, Creative Art and Mathematics. Through play your child learns to explore and discover their world. This simple practical and easy to understand program builds on what your child can already do, and what you can do as a parent to support them.
Tuesdays - September 24th - December 10th - 1:00 - 2:30pm - Langdon Community Church

Busy Bodies (1-2 year olds) 
A program designed to keep toddlers busy with running, jumping and tumbling in a free-play environment. Plenty of opportunities to meet others and share songs and stories at circle time.

Fit Fam 
Join the Primary Care Network Kinesiologist and the Early Childhood Supports Team in this NEW program designed to help support physical and mental health after baby. A few topics include physical activity counselling and stress, my baby body and self-care, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and preserving intimacy and romance in your relationship.

Ready, Set, Learn! (3.5-5 year olds) 
A resource-rich program where children will practise fine motor skills such as printing and scissors, as well as turn-taking and sharing in preparation for kindergarten.
