Water Festival Celebrations are located at John Peake Park, 100 John Morris Way
Celebrate summer on the lake at Chestermere's annual Water Festival. Watch the epic wakeboard competition, enjoy the tasty food truck line, have a blast with your kids in the Kids Fun Zone, browse the Artisan Market or visit the Beer Gardens. There will also be amazing entertainment all day long, including our headliner; Country music artist Drew Gregory. End the night with the fireworks display!
Schedule of Events:
11:00 am Wakeboard Competition
- The competition will take place on the north side of the Lake.
- The north side of the Lake is closed during the competition. Residents on the north side please remain along the shoreline when on the lake.
11:00 am - 4:00 pm EPCOR Kids Fun Zone
Activities include:
- Foam Pit
- Kate's Face Painting
- Kiddie Striker
- Pirate Mini Golf
- Pirate Obstacle Course
- Super Slide
- Toddler Bouncy House
- Mobile Adventure Playground
11:00 am Artisan Market & Food Trucks
- Visit the various vendors in our Artisan Market and Food Truck Line
- Located in John Peake Park.
12:00 pm Lake Tours
- Dockside Bar & Grill will be hosting Lake Tours from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. (last ride is at 3:00 p.m.).
- $10 a ride (109 E Chestermere Dr)
1:00 pm Beer Gardens
- Hosted by Chestermere Lions Club.
1:30 pm Summer Music Showcase

10:30 pm Fireworks
- The fireworks display will be discharged from a floating barge on the north side of the lake. We ask all boaters to remain on the south side of the lake for safety reasons.
- There will be limited parking available in John Peake Park.
