This Saturday! 3rd Annual Summer Camp and Recreation Expo

Summer adventures await at the Summer Camp & Recreation Expo this Saturday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Chestermere Rec Centre. Come and find your summer fun for youth from Chestermere, Langdon, Strathmore and all areas in between.

Charlene's Creative Creations will be providing amazing face painting for your little ones, and there will be a few activities and crafts set up to keep them busy while you chat with prospective camps and rec programs. Swag bags will be given to the first 100 people through the doors and entry is FREE! Plus, there will be special bonus entries to our Luzia - Cirque du Soliel giveaway only available to those that stop by the Expo!


**The Kidz 1st Parent Link Centre will begin accepting summer program registrations at the Expo. All programs through the Parent Link Centre are free, and registration will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Priority will be given to families who have not attended Parent Link programs before.**

Chestermere Recreation Centre - The Chestermere Rec Centre offers preschool half-day camps (three days per week) from 9 - 12pm throughout the months of July and August. Full day, week-long camps for ages 6 - 12 will feature off-site trips, special guests, bike riding days and more. Before and after care is also available.



Lasting Strides Equine Assisted Learning - Horseback riding, Equine Assisted Learning, Year-round programs.



Pegasus Gymnastics - Week-Long Summer Camps at Pegasus Gymnastics. Gymnastics circuits, crafts and activities will revolve around the weekly themes: Stampede, Super Hero's, Dinosaurs and Animals, Science and Magic, Under the Sea, Lego, Circus, and Ninjas


Ice Edge Skating Club - Developing basic (Learn to Skate) skills that can be used for on-ice activities including hockey, figure skating, ringette or recreational skating. Enhancing advanced figure skating skills (STARSkate program), including test and competitive options. 



Camp Chestermere -  Summer Overnight & Day Camps for ages 5-18.  School-year camps also offered.



Wheatland Society of Arts - Art based summer camps for youth.



PEAK Cycle Barre Hot Yoga INC. - Yoga, Spin, Barre Aerial Yoga for youths 12+ We also provide specialized registered programs including summer yoga camps and summer Aerial yoga camps for all children ages 2.5 years and up. 




Calgary Humane Society - At Calgary Humane Society we offer multiple youth involvement opportunities. These programs include day camps, youth clubs, birthday parties, tours, classroom presentations and field trips. 


Abstract Dance Academy - Abstract offers fall and winter dance classes as well as summer camp programs.

Cobb's Adventure Park - Join us for our exciting weekly camps! Children have an opportunity to enjoy ALL Cobb’s attractions, play camp games, create themed crafts, and do exciting science experiments! 




Flying Squirrel Sports - Flying Squirrel Sports is true fun for the whole family, where the rules of gravity no longer apply! It’s a spring-loaded, urban playground like you’ve never seen before, and whether you’re a seasoned adrenaline junkie or a family with toddlers and young children, everyone will enjoy themselves at Flying Squirrel!


SAIT Summer Camps - Known for its hands-on learning environment and non-traditional offerings, SAIT Summer Camps encourages children and youth in Grades 1 - 12 to explore interests and future career options, learn new things and make connections. We offer over 100 uniquely-focused camps including welding, carpentry, STEM, etc.



Junior Champions Soccer - Junior Champions recognizes the importance of fair play and skills training through skilled soccer trainers, with a focus on all children 4 to 8 years of age. Junior Champions will raise your child's confidence, improve social interaction skills and inspire them to set goals and achieve them.



Kidz First Parent Link Centre - The Parent Link Centre puts on a ton of free programs over the summer. From a Kinder-Camp to help children entering Kindergarten in September 2019 get ready for their first official day of school, to various Meet Me at the Park programs for all ages at parks and playgrounds around Chestermere, Langdon and Conrich. Keep an eye on Macaroni Kid for upcoming program dates. Summer program registrations will be accepted at the Expo on April 6th.



Chestermere Comunity Football Club - We are a nonprofit club that provides opportunities for children aged 8-14 to learn and play football in Chestermere/Langdon and area.


My Kinderhouse - Preschool Education and Summer Camps


Chestermere Vikings would like to introduce our Junior Rugby programs for boys & girls ages 5 - 17.  We have both summer & fall programs for 2019.  We do not hold tryouts, we want to give all kids a chance to try rugby.  Come ask us your questions then come out to learn new skills, have fun & meet new friends. 



Fit Together Studio - Local kids camps and programs. Fit Together also enables families to be Fit Together, by creating a fun and safe environment for parents to use a gym facility while watching their children play.



Chestermere High School Athletic Park Upgrade - learn more about this amazing project! the goal is to create a facility for school and community use for the greater Chestermere area serving sports such as football, soccer, rugby, ultimate and track.
