Parent Link Centre Fall Programs

Registration for these programs begins September 6, 2017 at Chestermere Energizer Night, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. To register after that, please contact Contact Community Services by phone (403) 207-7050 for registration information, or in person at the Community Services Office at the Chestermere Municipal Building (105 Marina Road, Chestermere). All programs are free, and registration is first come, first serve, and priority will be given to children who have not yet attended.


Little Scientists

Join us where science and fun meet! We will be doing all kinds of scientific experiments and getting sticky and icky with messy activities.

3-5 years old | Mondays 1:00-2:30pm | Sept 25-Dec 4


Ready, Set, Learn
A hands-on learning program where children can practice fine motor skills such as printing and working with scissors, as well as turn-taking and sharing in preparation for kindergarten.

3.5-5 years old | Tuesdays 10:00-11:30am | Oct 3-Dec 12


Emotion Commotion
Children will learn how to increase their ability to independently problem solve, improve friendship skills, enhance positive behaviours and control their emotions.

3-5 years old | Tuesdays 1:00-2:30pm | Sept 26-Dec 5


Fun with Ages & Stages
Learn about your child’s physical, social and emotional development and celebrate their skills. Participate in play that target’s your child’s development in 5 areas: communication, fine motor, gross motor, personal-social and problem solving.

0-14 months old | Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm | Oct 3-Nov 7


Melody Makers
Children will participate in music related activities that involve song, dance, instruments, and imaginative play.

3-5 years old | Wednesdays 9:30-10:30am | Sept 27-Dec 6


Movers ‘n Shakers
Learn new songs and techniques to help distract, excite, and calm your child. Bang on drums, shake tambourines, dance with ribbons, and meet new friends.

18-36 months old | Wednesdays 11:00-11:45am | Sept 27-Dec 6


Rock-A-Bye-Rhymes
This program is designed to give babies the opportunity to explore the world through songs, chants and rhymes, while developing literacy skills. Coffee & Chatter to follow.

0-18 months old | Wednesday 1:30-2:15pm | Sept 27-Dec 6
