Langdon Days 2017 is coming up very quickly and the Langdon Days Committee is getting excited about all the great things in store for everyone who attends the event this year!
Festivities begin Friday, July 21 at 6:00 pm with the start of the ball tournament which runs for the whole weekend. Don’t forget to bring your appetite as some great food trucks will be on site serving up dinner to festival goers. Beer gardens opens up at 6:00 pm and our interactive DJ will be onsite from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am. Wristbands can be purchased for $5 each at Mountain View Credit Union during regular business hours starting July 1st.
Make sure to get up bright and early Saturday morning (July 22) to get to the pancake breakfast while food lasts! Breakfast is served from 8:00 am until 10:00 am with the parade following from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. Bring a lawn chair to get the most comfortable seat on the parade route! When you’re all done at the parade, head on over to Langdon Park to check out the vendor’s village - do a little shopping! - and then head over to the Children’s Festival which runs from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Are you wondering where to eat? Food trucks will be onsite again Saturday from 11:00 am until 1:00 am when beer gardens closes! Are your kids a little older? Check out the Synergy Youth Zone from noon to 4:00 pm to see what they have going on. Wristbands are required for Saturday night’s beer gardens (still only $5 each!) which opens at 6:00 pm (DJ will be onsite from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am). Don’t forget to check out the silent auction, running from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
Sunday morning (July 23) begins with car show registration at 8:00 am and the car show following at 10:00 am. There will be another vendor’s village with some new vendors beginning at 10:00 am as well. The Langdon Days Committee, along with support from Qualico Communities is proud to bring you Dr. Von Houligan’s Carnival of Calamities! There are three showtimes (11:00 am, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm) with limited space so make sure to get your tickets early! Tickets are on sale at Mountain View Credit Union starting July 1st. Prices are $5 per child, $10 per adult or $25 for a family of four.
