Upcoming Teen Programs at the Chestermere Library

Teen Programs

Graphic Novel and Manga Club - on Discord

Every month, our program facilitator will choose a theme to discuss, any comic that fits the theme is welcome to be discussed throughout the month on our Discord. Join our Discord on our website. www.chestermerepubliclibrary.com/Programs-Events/ComicClub May’s theme is Paranormal.  June’s theme is Families.


Teen Leaders - Sundays, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm  May 5 - June 9, 2024

Teen Leaders offers teens from 13-17 years old a chance to build essential leadership skills, foster personal growth, and empower young individuals to make a positive contribution to their communities while obtaining volunteer hours. Snacks will also be provided. Registration required.  Each program date must be registered for separately for each participant joining us, and missing two registered program dates without warning participants will be removed from future program dates in this session.


Volunteer Reading Buddy - Wednesdays at 4:15 pm May 1 - June 5

Help facilitate reading and literacy in younger children. Must be in grade 7 to 12. Become a buddy by contacting us at info@chestermerepubliclibrary.com. 


Teen Volunteer Experience - Ages 13 to 17

Looking to do some volunteering at the library? We are on the hunt for students to help us with our programs and special events. Please fill out the volunteer application form on our website to apply.

Macaroni KID Chestermere is a free local event and activities calendar, weekly e-newsletter and website focused on fun family events and information in the Chestermere, Langdon, Indus and surrounding rural areas. We gather all kinds of local family events and activities each week and add useful information about classes, family-focused local businesses, recipes, crafts, school and camp guides and more.
